Padstow

Padstow is situated on the beautiful and rugged north cornwall coast with its wide sandy beaches, towering cliffs, hidden coves and beautiful countryside. There are good shopping facilities, a cinema, cafes, restaurants and in recent years it has become best known for Celebrity Chef Rick Stein's restaurant as depicted in his cookery TV series Sea Food Oddessy.

From Padstow harbour you have a wonderful view of the small fleet of daily fishing boats and in the summer holidaymakers messing around in pleasure boats. Around the harbour you will find craft and gift shops, artist's studios, book- shops, grocers, newsagents, leather workshops, a home-made fudge shop and much more. You will find beaches within walking distance of the harbour, or a short drive along the coast will take you to some of the finest beaches in Cornwall.

Padstow offers unrivalled holiday opportunities, the town surrounded by pastel-washed medieval houses is an attraction in itself. For the more active and adventurous Padstow offers a range of activities including water sports (fishing, surfing and sailing), walking, cycling, golf, the world famous Camel Trail and the South West Coastal Footpath.
