Oakwood House - Bodmin

 

Ideally located for enjoying both the lovely sandy beaches of the north coast and the quaint fishing harbours and gardens of the south coast, this outstanding property is part of an exclusive, new development on the fringes of Bodmin. Beautifully furnished and extremely spacious, Oakwood House sits just a mile from access to the Camel Trail which leads all the way through Wadebridge (5 miles) and along the Camel estuary.

An ideal location from which to explore the rugged coastline's wealth of fishing villages and coves. Bude's glorious sandy beach, excellent leisure facilities, golf course, shopping and restaurants are just 2½ miles away.

This quaint little traditional cottage, with beams and low doorways, overlooks the hamlet 'green', sharing a pleasant slate pathed courtyard with the owner's holiday home. Less than a mile away is Tintagel, renowned for its Arthurian connections, with its dramatic coastline, romantic castle ruins, exquisite Old Post Office (N.T.) and wide choice of restaurants. Trebarwith Strand, 2½ miles (pictured), has a delightful sandy cove and restaurant/bar.

Within a few minutes' drive of many lovely north coast beaches, this very comfortable Grade II listed cottage sits in an attractive courtyard development, a short walk from the outstanding 14th century village church, shops and pubs. Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay's water sports facilities are about 6 miles, and the popular, lively resort of Newquay's fine surfing beaches are 8 miles.
